Events - Event View

This year Omaha VW Club's spring cruise will be including a scavenger hunt! Cruise with the group or break off into teams to earn more points. Rejoin with the club for lunch at Las Palomas Mexican Grill at the Branched Oak Lake Marina and to find out who the winners are.

We will start at Baxter Volkswagen Omaha with some breakfast pastries, coffee, and juice provided by Baxter.
9:30 AM we will have a driver's meeting to share the rules and go over any questions. Your team can leave immediately after the drivers meeting to begin your hunt. If you want to skip the scavenger hunt and stick with the general cruise, we will leave at about 10:00 AM.

**TEAMS**
We encourage teams of 2-4 cars, but you are welcome to have more or less. We'll document your team at the driver's meeting. Ensure you have a camera (smartphone, iPad, digital cameras) as points will be earned based on photos you collect during the scavenger hunt. You will be given a list of subjects to take photos of, and some general locations on a map where you can find them, but part of the hunt will be your team using Google Maps (or your app of choice) to find and plan your stops.
!!!YOU MUST ARRIVE AT THE FINAL DESTINATION BY 1:00PM!!!

**GENERAL CRUISE**
If you don't want to go out in teams, we will still have a more direct cruise directly to the destination with a single stop along the way. That stop will be about 1 hour and will include opportunities to earn scavenger hunt points at or near by the stop. Teams are welcome to stop as well to earn points and then break out on your own again.
