ListServ Content: The purpose of Omaha VW Club ListServ is to provide a forum for discussions, exchange of ideas, requests for help, place Volkswagens parts for sale or wanted requests and to have a place to share your experiences relating to Volkswagens. Off topic posts are are not allowed. The Committee is the final arbitrator of what is considered off topic.

The posting or forwarding of e-mails with an attachment is prohibited. Please submit all attachments directly to the party for which they are intended. The transmitting or posting of e-mails for the purpose of commercial sales is prohibited and will not be tolerated. Multi-Recipient postings or forwards to the ListServ are prohibited. Please submit like or additional information you wish for others to view in a separate email only intended for them.

Public Information: Defined herein, "Public Information" is described as a statement or collection of information from an individual or group of individuals about any given topic or subject that is transmitted willfully by the sender to the ListServ. That information is then sent via electronic mail to the subscribers of said ListServ for the purpose of entertainment and personal knowledge alone.
Distribution: Public Information may be consolidated and distributed for archiving purposes.. This archive purpose is for entertainment purposes only and is by no means considered doctrine, policy, instructional, or otherwise an Official Club sanctioned learning tool. To prevent commercialization of members contributions, archived information may be collected on electronic media such as CDR, CDRW, CD-ROM, Hard Disk, and paper, hardbound book or other methods deemed necessary only by The Committee. These archives may be distributed in a not-for-profit method. The only fees authorized for collection due to the reproduction and distribution of said archived information is for: (a) reasonable shipping & handling rates chosen by the receiver. (b) Actual reproduction or purchase costs. {Purchase costs related to hard media such as CDR, CDRW, and CDROM.}

Information Distribution: The Committee and/or club members of The Omaha VW Club are not authorized to impede, stop, or otherwise interfere with the distribution of electronic mail, posts or other forms of communication to The ListServ that are in full compliance with this agreement at the time of posting. Likewise, all information is intended to reach all registered subscribers with a valid and confirmed email address. Therefore we are not responsible for mis-sent, mis-forwarded, or otherwise LOST email that may have been intended for The ListServ and/or its members or subscribers.

Email Address Distribution: The collection, storage, searching for, or harvesting of member’s email address or personal and private information for external commercial posting is prohibited. To sell, redistribute, offer to sell or otherwise provide to Non-List Members, the email address, or other private information is prohibited. The ListServ Manager will initiate immediate removal from the ListServ. Any List-Member violating these terms will not be allowed to re-subscribe to the ListServ. The decision of The Committee will not be reversed, appealed or otherwise challenged in any case.

Release: Because the ListServ is an automated process, we are not responsible for lost information that are submitted for distribution through the ListServ. All posts, writings, personal experiences, or more commonly known as "Trip Reports" are given freely by the writer for entertainment purposes only. ALL forms of transmitting information through the ListServ are considered an attempt to mass-submit your comments and/or thoughts to other subscribers for the purposes of free distribution without the intent of instruction or policy. Non-subject Related ListServ Content: Any member found to be posting non-Volkswagen or Club related posts or emails to the ListServ will be given one (1) warning after which The Committee will decide if a dismissal is necessary. The Committee reserves the right to unsubscribe, delete or otherwise remove from this service any user that is deemed to be inappropriate for this Listserv
