Spring Campout 2016
April 29, 2016 - April 30, 2016
The Omaha VW club spring camp out will be Friday and Saturday April 29th and 30th at Ponca State Park. Ponca State Park is located 112 miles to the north on the banks of the Missouri River. The park has 17 camping pads along the river or if you prefer a few more amenities their are 14 modern cabins for rent. The park boasts of 20 miles of trails for hiking or biking. The Missouri
River is not channelized along the park with two miles of access, In addition, there is a boat ramp six miles upstream which makes for easy boat launch to float your kayak or canoe back downstream. There is also a backwater area.
