Fall Cruise 2021

Fall is here! Join us on our Fall Cruise near Omaha. Starting at Greg Sloma’s house, we’ll cruise up through Blair and over to Crescent, IA. We plan to make a stop at Super Bee Orchard in Fort Calhoun, NE, and end with lunch at Stanley’s Snack Shack in Honey Creek, IA.

Start: Greg Sloma’s House to Super Bee Orchard: 25 min / 13.2 miles
Highway 36 east to 72nd Street – 5.7 mi
Left/North on 72nd Street to Omaha Trace Road – 1.3 mi
Left/West on Omaha Trace Road to N 78th Street – 0.5 mi
Right/North on N 78th St, which turns into County Road P43, to Highway 75 – 5 mi
Right/South on Highway 75 to Stop 1: Super Bee Orchard (Fort Calhoun NE)- 0.2 mi
Super Bee Orchard to Stanley’s Snack Shack: 52 min / 37.4 miles
Highway 75 north to Clay Street (Fort Calhoun, NE)) – 1 mi
Left/West on Clay Street, turns into County Road P32, follow until County Road P35 – 4 mi
Right/North on County Road P35 to Highway 75 – 5.3 miles
Left/North on Highway 75 to US-30 E/Washington Street (Blair, NE) – 1.1 mi
Right/East on US-30 to 6th Street/Loess Hills Trail (Missouri Valley, IA) – 12.9 mi
Right/South on 6th Street, turns into Loess Hills Trail, then into Old Lincoln Highway, to Mahogany Road – 13 mi

Stanley’s Snack Shack to Omaha: 20-45min
Stanley’s Snack Shack will be our official end, but to get back to Omaha, there’s a few options. You can either take Old Lincoln Highway into Crescent, IA, and take Old Mormon Bridge Road west. Old Mormon Bridge Road turns into I-680 into North Omaha, or you can get on I-29 and take that to either I-480 or I-80.
For more scenic route, you can also continue on Old Lincoln Highway all the way into Council Bluffs.
